As a second-year medical student, I have found the OnlineMedEd curriculum to be an invaluable resource for learning the preclinical content. Specifically, the "PACE": Prime, Acquire, Challenge, Enforce: approach in which the lessons are designed has been extremely effective in helping me dive deep into understanding difficult medical concepts. Prior to starting a new block, such as my current reproduction module, I always turn to OnlineMedEd's online lessons and PACE framework to prime myself to the new concepts. The tutor, Dr. Dustyn Williams, utilizes various techniques to help students grasp the information. His ability to create the full picture of the system or pathology he is describing by using illustrations on the whiteboard is particularly helpful for visual learners like me. Overall, I am grateful for the impact that OnlineMedEd has had on my medical education thus far!
