Learner Centered Teaching

The cultivation of a teaching identity for medical education can often be a culmination of skills and principles accumulated from role modeling, life experiences, student feedback, and professional development. With so many different insights on the topic, health professions educators might have difficulty identifying best practices or even better practices.

In this 1-hour webinar, we introduce some foundational principles of teaching based on higher education literature, adult learning literature, and health professions educator competencies.

Institutional Success Team

Leading this session are two members of the OnlineMedEd Institutional Success team. At OnlineMedEd, Stephen, Rebecca, and their teammates contribute subject matter expertise around curriculum design, faculty and student assessment, and help solve institutional challenges around administration and accreditation. Made up of peer educators, this team works directly with administration and faculty at our institutional partners with a focus on instructional design and implementation of best practices for hybrid learning.
